Firefly Kennel, LLC... sits in a country setting on 160 acres of fields, ponds, and wooded areas located in Dixmont, Maine. We are currently accepting applications for daycare and boarding dogs. Easy on/off I95! No turns, no traffic lights, and no stop signs. From Route 9, turn onto Simpson Corner Rd. by Orcutt’s Variety in Dixmont. We are just 2 miles on the left. Catching a plane in Portland, Bangor, or Boston? Heading north to go snowmobiling or to attend a sporting or performing arts event? Firefly is the perfect place for your fur babies! Some people are driving over an hour to get their pets here for extended stays. Worth the drive for boarding and conveniently located in the heart of Maine for your daycare needs. Bring your pets to join the fun!

(dogs must be picked up by 5pm to avoid a $25 late fee/dog)
Saturdays: 9am-10am and 5pm-6pm
(pick-up and drop-off only)
Sundays: Closed to Public
(no drop-off or pick-up)
Major Holidays:

New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
